In the battle between truth and fiction, socialists often find themselves shaking their heads in disbelief at what the right comes up with. Nowhere is this truer than on issues of climate change.
The Toronto Community Housing Corporation has released a report showing the comprehensive social policy case for government-funded community housing. The TCHC is a public company that houses 60,000 families, many of whom are youth and/or live in poverty.
There were some pretty scary laws on their way to being passed in Arkansas and Indiana last week. The good news is that the broad coalition pushing back against these regressive and hateful laws have won a minor victory. Both republican state legislators have been forced to amend the laws which would have legalized discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.

A NYT article tries to suggest that there is a new position coming from the scientific community when it comes to climate change. It continues by stating that this position is the 'middle' position, presumably between those that deny that the entire science community is correct in their analysis that the earth is warming because of human behaviour and those radicals that make the absurd claim that we should do something about it.
